Strengthening Local News and Information in the Last, Best Place
Local News is Essential.
Strong local outlets do more than report the news. They help neighbors stay connected, hold leaders accountable, support thriving businesses, and help Montanans make sense of what’s happening close to home.
What is Press Forward Montana?
Press Forward Montana brings funders together to align investments, share resources, and strengthen local news so our communities have the trusted information they need to stay connected and engaged.
Support Local Journalism
Join Press Forward Montana. We’re raising funds for the Local News Day 2027 Matching Challenge to help Montana newsrooms grow local support for local journalism.
